Reclaiming Hope

Journeying with Survivors of Sex Trafficking

There’s a problem where we live!

To learn more about how you can help, please call us at (719) 425-9405 or send us a message.

It’s a tragedy that is taking place every day, regardless of race or material comfort.

Over 300,000 children are exploited in the US each year. The average age when children are trafficked is 11-14 years old.

In 2020, our local law enforcement task force in Colorado Springs conducted 180 investigations. The problem is in Colorado Springs.

Reclaiming Hope is part of the solution!

Hope Bags are filled with new items and given to Survivors by our partners in law enforcement at the point of rescue.

Reclaiming Hope works with law enforcement across the nation to provide comfort bags for Survivors at the time of their recovery. These backpacks are age specific, designed for toddlers, children, teens and adults. We are dedicated to providing a high level of care for the Survivors that we serve. Our greatest prayer is that we provide as much love and comfort as possible. They include new clothing, a hygiene kit, a blanket, comfort items, snacks and a personal note.

Mentoring is about relationships, community and acceptance. Reclaiming Hope’s Mentor Program matches trained, accountable Mentors with Survivors.

Each survivor’s emotional, physical and relational needs are addressed in the context of a long-term, trusted relationship. Find out more about our Mentor Program here.

Is God calling you to walk with a Survivor? Our Mentor Program trains new mentors periodically. If you are interested in becoming a Mentor, please fill out our  Mentor Program Application. You will be contacted by our Director of Survivor Care.

We currently lease 3 apartments, allowing us to offer safe housing for the Survivors we walk alongside. But we need some items for these apartments! If you would like to support our Housing Program in a very practical way, click the button below to view our Amazon Wish List.
