We can’t wait to see everyone on Sunday, Sept. 18! We were blown away by the enthusiasm and generosity at last year’s Reclaiming Hope naming event, and are even more excited for year two. It’s not too late to get tickets!

And at the annual event, we’re looking forward to introducing you to Allison! She is Reclaiming Hope’s new Office Manager. She has taken in two rescue dogs and is passionate about social work and human services, which is what led her to our team.

We asked her a few questions – get to know her with us!

1. What about Reclaiming Hope’s mission do you like best?
Reclaiming Hope’s mission to walk with survivors is so inspiring. This is a population that is often overlooked because not everyone realizes how close to home the issue is.

2. What do you wish more people knew about human trafficking?
I wish people understood that human trafficking is everywhere. It is happening in your neighborhood, it is happening in your town, and state. It isn’t far away from you. It isn’t something that you see on the news happening just in other countries. It is happening here in Colorado as well.

3. What bible verse do you turn to when you need encouragement?
When I need encouragement I pray on Isaiah 41:10. “So do not fear, for I am with you.” It has gotten me through many tough times since I was young and learned it on Veggie Tales!

We’re glad she’s on our team! See you soon.

In prayers and in Christ,
Sues Hess

IN THE NEWS AND RESOURCES

RECLAIMING HOPE ON FOX21
“We need your help because my shelves are empty,” said Sues Hess, Executive Director of Reclaiming Hope. “Our volunteers have worked like crazy to send out the bags used in Operation Cross Country and now we have more requests we cannot fill without the public’s help.” FOX21 hosted a donation drive at their station on Friday, August 26. We filled 2 SUVs with all of the donations – thanks to all who helped/donated!

FBI OPERATION CROSS COUNTRY RECOVERS 11 SURVIVORS
