Have you saved the date for Sunday evening, September 12? If not, there’s still time!

We will be celebrating our ten+ years of ministry, and you are invited to join us for a night of dining, fellowship and the release of our new name! After ten+ years of advocacy and healing work, we recognize that as human trafficking has shifted over time, we must also evolve our services to match the needs of sex trafficking Survivors.

Please join us at The Barn at SonShine Inn on 16325 Roller Coaster Rd., Colorado Springs from 5-8 p.m. to celebrate what God has done in the lives of Survivors!

We can’t really imagine this moment without the support of our friends, prayer warriors, mentors, volunteers, community advocates and, most of all, Survivors who remind us why we do what we do. We hope you can join us as we look back, and forward.

Tickets can be purchased on our website. Thank you for everything you’ve done and for making time for our celebration together on Sunday, Sept. 12!

We will have some unique volunteer needs in preparation for our Celebration. Please let us know if you’d like to help!

Kim Rust has creatively grown our Restoration Bag program over the last 3 1/2 years. She was initially hired to work as many hours each month as she now regularly puts in each week! Kim will soon be handing over the program to Abby Leonard. Some of you will remember Abby, as she previously served as our Mentor Program Director. Abby begins training with Kim August 3. Welcome back, Abby!

We are also grateful for friends who walk with us, helping to meet practical needs of Survivors. Zane, at Legend Motor Works helped us recently put a Mentee in a reliable used car. After our Survivor received the title and registration, she was so excited because her name was on it. Her family said she would never be able to get a car for herself. She even gave her car a name! Thank you, Zane and team!

In prayers and in Christ,

Sues Hess
Executive Director

It’s also not too late to fill out our application to be a mentor! If you’ve asked yourself, “Is God calling me to walk with a survivor?” and you feel the Holy Spirit moving you toward, “YES,” then we’d love to be the organization that helps you steward this gift. Reclaiming Hope mentors are women who support and journey with human trafficking Survivors for at least two years. They become unconditional, encouraging, faithful friends who love on women who have been traumatized and need support working through that.

This August, we are welcoming new mentors into our program to walk alongside Survivors who would like that kind of support or just a friend. If you would like to be considered as a Mentor, please fill out a mentor program application! Your completed application will go to Mandie, our Director of Survivor Care, who will then connect with you on next steps. Remember – our training is August 7!
